Referee Courses
Referee Payscale
STEP 1:
CLICK HERE to register for the small sided referee course. Once on the registration page, "Search by club". Select Williams Lake. Click search.
Select the referee course which applies to you:
Small sided clinic - Ages 12 & 13 (Eligible to referee any match for ages U6-U12)
New QYSA refs will be reimbursed 50% of the fee once the ref has officiated 6 QYSA house league spring season games and 4 house league indoor season games. Referees simply submit their receipt to qysams@gmail.com once they have completed these 10 games.
Entry level clinic - Ages 14+ (includes adults) (Eligible to referee or assistant referee matches for any age group, including full 11 a side games)
Current QYSA small sided refs will need to pay for the clinic upfront. Once they have completed and passed the course, submit your receipt to qysams@gmail.com and you will be reimbursed. New QYSA refs will be reimbursed 50% of the fee once the ref has refereed 6 QYSA house league spring season games and 4 house league indoor season games.
STEP 3:
Pay the registration fee
Small Sided Clinic: $40.00 (plus $4.46 user fee / system processing fee)
Entry Level Clinic: $131.25 plus a $4.46 user fee / system processing fee (includes GST)
You are now eligible to referee with QYSA!
Refresher Clinic
Referee Refresher Clinics are designed to update all Registered Referees in British Columbia with any Laws of the Game changes and interpretations. The clinic content of the refresher is developed by the Referee Education Program and launched in August of each year.
Registering for a Refresher Clinic
Important Note: Referees MUST register online AND pay the fees prior to attending the clinic. No ‘walk-ins’ will be allowed to attend.
To register for a BC Soccer Refresher clinic please follow the steps below:
1. Log in to your Ref Centre account at www.refcentre.com in the top right hand corner with your e-mail address and password. If you have forgotten your password, please click the "Forgot Password" button in the top right hand corner and your password will be e-mailed to you.
2. Go to ‘Registration’ then ‘Refresher Courses’. Click register and follow the prompts to complete your registration for the Refresher Clinic.
3. Once a referee has completed registration (including payment) via Ref Centre, and attends the annual BC Soccer Refresher clinic, he/she will automatically be registered April 1st of the following year.
4. Referees who have not completed registration for the BC Soccer Refresher clinic (including payment) via Ref Centre will NOT be allowed to attend the BC Soccer Refresher clinic.
