All kids should be able to play soccer. There are many organizations available to help. If applying for financial assistance, please contact us 250-992-2223 for exact cost to put on your application as well as for any other information that may be required when applying through the organization you select. You will still need to submit a soccer registration for your child(ren) and inform QYSA when you have submitted your application for assistance and once you have heard back regarding approval. Click on one of the links below for information on applying for financial assistance.
All refunds must be requested in writing and will be subject to a $45.00 administration fee. Once the season has begun, refunds will only be given with a medical note from a doctor. Refunds in this case are pro rated and will still be subject to the $45.00 administration fee.
Please be aware that soccer registrants are now required to provide their City of Quesnel Recreation Pass Number. If you don’t have one, you can get one from the Quesnel Arts & Rec Centre, free of charge, if you live within the taxation area.
Please click this link to view the taxation area map.
If you live outside the taxation area, the fee for a pass is $215/family per year. The purpose of this change is one of equity. People who live outside the taxation area are using facilities that are being paid for by those that live in the taxation area, and the Recreation Pass is intended to address that inequity by requiring people who live outside the taxation area to pay an equivalent amount to what people in the taxation area pay in taxes for recreation. This change is required as QYSA now falls under North Cariboo Recreation and Parks/Quesnel Sub-Regional Recreation.
If you choose to not obtain a City of Quesnel Recreation Pass, fees for Program Registration and Facility Rentals will be higher to adjust for the cost.
