QYSA sponsors two young players...
QYSA sponsored two young players to attend the Mike Norris Goalkeeping Clinic which ran from July 29-August 2nd.
An essay writing contest was held by QYSA. Brody Evans and Amber McHugh both submitted essays hoping to get a chance to attend this clinic. As winners, QYSA sponsored them both to go to Prince George in order to attend the weeklong clinic. Both Brody and Amber went with a fresh new pair of goalie gloves and a desire to improve their goalkeeping skills.
Brody and Amber both had a great time at the clinic and came back with many new skills and some wonderful memories.
